From The Artist: “Thicket” is painted with a limited color palette that focuses on depth and form. This scene is my view out of every window of my home in Alabama. Southern treetops grace each view, sprouting up from the warm earth, twisting branches reaching and competing for sunlight; undergrowth grounding the scene."
