How to Print and Frame Digital Downloads
Our digital downloads are such an affordable way to bring art into your home. We know it can be overwhelming to figure out the best way to print and frame them, but don’t worry! We’ve got you covered with this quick guide on how to print and frame our digital downloads.
1. Locate your digital download
After purchasing your digital print, Juniper will email you the files to download and save to your computer. If you can’t find the email, search for the subject line ‘Download Your Print Shop Order’ in your inbox and junk folders.
2. Decide on your print size
The email will contain separate ratio options for the following print sizes:
2:3 - 4x6, 12x18, 20x30, 24x36
3:4 - 5x7*, 9x12, 18x24
4:5 - 8x10, 11x14*, 16x20
16:9 - Horizontal images will come with a ‘frameratio’ file for the Samsung Frame TV.
*may require a slight crop
We recommend downloading these files to a computer rather than a phone or tablet.

3. Print your file
Once you have downloaded the file, you can simply print the image on your home printer, upload the file to the online print shop of your choice, or transfer the file to an external drive and take it to your local printer. All of our files are 25MB as most online printers will not accept larger files. Our digital files are test printed up to a 24” x 36” for quality assurance. If you would like a larger size, please check out our oversized paper prints.
4. Choose a frame
Look for frames at home decor stores, craft stores, thrift stores, or even estate sales! They don’t all have to match. If you find a vintage frame you love but aren’t crazy about the existing print, just remove it! Feel free to select a variety of frames and paint them all one color or enjoy an eclectic look with differing styles and finishes.
While our prints don’t require a mat, you can add one for visual balance. A mat can also help the print take up more space on your wall. Sometimes it’s fun to add a black or beige mat instead of the typical white. You can even spray paint your mat like we did in this reel!

5. Place your print in the frame and hang your artwork!
Now here’s the fun part - choosing where to hang your art! For smaller prints with a stand, you can add them to a credenza, bathroom shelf, or hallway. For big groups of artwork, check out our blog post on How to Arrange Picture Frames on a Wall. You can hang prints in a gallery wall, in groups of two or three, or even add an art ledge above your couch or behind a desk.
